Mid-year review

Ahhhh 2010. You've really been exciting, haven't you?

The past 4 weeks have been exciting!

~ I walked for graduation

~Went to Fanime-con

~ Just got told I'll be out of a job!



I guess it's about time though. I've been at my current job for over 2 years now... and I'm about to get my Master's degree. Time for full-time?

I got a heads up from my advisor that my program might be cut at the end of the year... but didn't realize it'd be so soon. My advisor acts as a consultant for the Older Adult Program and she said it was a good time to start job searching. Ahhhh a real job!!!

I've been researching locations... and Orange County is number one. As much as I love to live in LA County, I'd much rather work in Orange County. Much more senior-friendly. I'm going to contact just to get some tours on facilities and do some pre-interviews/research/meetings before I apply at the end of summer.

I guess timing is timing right?
