As I recall it wasn't a punk kid, the story goes, ".... I walk up to the side of the car, and bam, I punch through the car window and drag the guy out. My daughter is screaming 'no daddy, NOOOOO!'. My hand is covered in blood, and the boy looks like he's seen his maker. And then, as my girl opens the car door, and rushes to restrain me, I just start beating him, over and over again, in the face. In a calm voice I tell him 'touching her, means I'm gonna touch you'. Then I leave him on the street by his car, and drag my baby girl into the house, screaming, and screaming, while trying to get to her boy, who's bleeding on the street."

The point of the story - as long as its a boy thinking sexual thoughts about my girl, then he's already a bloody pulp. It doesn't really matter if he's punk, though it is true that all boys are.

Did I describe that quite so vividly? The hand in the window is from Face off, but the rest, I don't quite remember it.

my goodness. Its one of my fondess memories. The story telling was ny-on brilliant. The way you told it I could see you, later in life, all calm and collected as you trashed the car window, and even through the screaming and the blood, you were serene as you did the business you felt you were born to.
