So I'm going to my first baby shower tomorrow... My firend just called me a couple of hours ago and told me it was tomorrow. I would have appreciated more notice, but what are you going to do? Now I have to spend tomorrow looking for a gift. I friend suggested getting a six month diaper service or something like that and that sounded like the best

offer your free baby sitting services! along with some sort of educational toy.... or just the toy depending on how comfortable you are with babies. You should give them a call and ask if they are registered anywhere or if they specifically need anything.

Psh, you shoulda called me, of course I have ideas! They have a hand mold at target for $10 (around the scrapbook section), baby einstein videos are good (very educational, and every parent says "i don't want my kid to sit in front of the TV for hours on end", but they always let the kid watch some kinda TV, and these are the best programs I've seen for them. These are ~$15-$20, you can also get them at Target. Baby books are also popular, the parents write in dates of important things (first time they kicked, all the way to first steps or something) it documents ~ the first 1.5 years of life (and being in the tummy). Yah, if you want, I can shop with you lol. All this stuff you can find at Target, and I live very close to target, so yah. If you want more just ask. :-)

As for the diaper service, I wouldn't reccomend it because some parents don't like cloth diapers, but if they are using cloth, then go for it.
