Directed by Will Gluck (Easy A, Fired Up!Cute movie. Lots of fun, great energy. Spends most of it's time lampooning classic Rom-coms and resisting the idea of becoming one. And it actually pulls it off a bit. Lots of cute moments

How do you think it resists the idea of becoming your classic rom-com?

Mostly in structure. Until that third act "OH NOES!" moment, it moves along at an unusual pace. It steals overtones from When Harry met Sally but aside from that, it moves to it's own drum. And there's even a bit of a twist at the very last moment.

Secondly, it spends a lot of time debunking and mocking the overly formulaic Rom-com.
