It's the difference between a guy with a crazy ex and a guy who says all his exes were psychos.

There are way too many of the latter. Sorry it makes us suspicious about the former.

Yeah, this. I can understand both sides of this argument because I've seen both sides of this argument. However, the dude who characterizes *all* of his exes as "crazy" are really sadly common (but thankfully a big red flag of "do not date this dude!).
