so today i was talking to the lovely taylor, when i sort of realized that everything i like is a fad. As far as the fashion design thing goes, I'm not so sure that it's just a fad. I mean, for some people, sure, but at the same time.. I think that different people have different reasons for loving it. For me, it's something I can do that makes me feel self-sufficient. And then there's always that little fact that I can't stand about 98.7% of today's clothing. Even though a lot of people may enjoy it, I think that because there are so many different reasons they enjoy it. To me, a fad is generally something that the majority of a certain demographic people follow mindlessly, willing to drop it without a second thought just as soon as the "next big thing" rolls around ( ... )
