Comment on this entry and I will give you a letter. Write ten words beginning with that letter in your journal, including an explanation what the word means to you and why, and then pass out letters to those who want to play along.

I was given 'F' and I managed to avoid any profanity (despite one in particular being very obvious). Go me!

Fraternity: No, not like a frat party. Fraternity as in 'friendship' and 'brotherhood'. It is a very important concept for everyone to remember. There will always be at least someone out there willing to be with you, to struggle with you and to fight alongside you. It is the antithesis of abandonment and its existence has forever given me hope for everyone.

Forever: As an ideal I've always thought in terms of 'forever' when I make plans. I try to never use liited-use items or systems if I can and I always strive to make things that are, at the very least, very long lasting if not permanent.

Fate: I fundamentally think we all possess free will, but sometimes it can feel as if I'm being pulled in one direction by supra-physical forces. I'm not speaking of some kind of 'guidance' here, but more a feeling that a certain choice was already made, a road pre chosen. This has never been a bad thing, at least for me, but it has given me much to think about.

Freedom: Freedom is over-used alot today, which saddens me a bit, but it is still an important concept. The freedom to be oneself being the chief amongst all. I have, and always will be, true to me own identity over any expectation. I hope that one day everyone else can say the same.

Feeling: A simple thing that is taken for granted. I do not speak of our 'feelings' here, such as sadness or happinness, but our physical ability to actually FEEL the world around us. To feel heat from the sun, cold from the wind, grass under foot and water on our faces. There is alot of joy to be had if you just walk out into the wild and feel its presence around you. I personally like the feeling of rain.

Fun: It is very important to have fun. Alot of people forget this, slaving themselves to tasks and then forgetting why. Enjoy your life and through that enrich the lives of all those who encounter you.

Fantasy: Benjamin Disraeli is believed to have said "Nurture your mind with great thoughts; to believe in the heroic makes heroes". While many adults would deride fantasy and imagination as childish, they are in fact the very tools needed to bring humanity to its highest pillar. It is in our wildest dreams that great invetions and ideas come forth; we should not be afraid to dream them.

Future: A constant concern of mine. I am always worrying and analyzing the future for possible outcomes. It is all the more frustrating because there is not much I can do to alter it on a large scale yet, but I'm getting closer.

Feeble: If I had a major fear, this would be it. The thought of becoming weak and decayed, in mind and/or body, before I can perform my tasks, that is quite a worry of mine indeed.

Food: Not only is it neccessary, but it sure tastes good too. I love food, which is obvious since I eat so much of it. Between 3500 and 4000 calories a day makes up my diet (and no, I'm not fat nor pudgy). Personally, nothing beats a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Though cheese sticks and nachos come really, really close.
