I was feeling like a short walk, perhaps to the Freddy's near my place, maybe if I was feeling more adventurous, to the Safeway in the Pearl. Once I started going, though, I just... didn't stop.

I accidentally took a three hour/10 mile walk in the rain.

I did those a lot when I first came here last year. I could sort of melt into the city and forget about being lonely and poor. After a while I managed to get more money and friends, and I also had walked most of the city. I think at this point the only people who know central Tokyo better than me are the taxi drivers and city planners...haha
