I had a lovely time at 12th Night yesterday.  There was A LOT of FOOD! And it was all really good.  Lots of fun things to do.   The timing was a bit off than what was planned, but not so off that we didn't fit everything in.  Certainly nothing unusual for an SCA event. Both performances were good, I think. My favorite highlights:

My little baby Carl-bear is 1 1/2 today!! Sweet baby boy! He's really turning into a little boy, too. He says 2 and 3 word sentences, understands most things. He's not so conversational as Otto, but he does talk. He's just as mobile as Otto, if a tad unbalanced in the snow. *sniff sniff* All growed up! First, the good! Kelly (oushi ) had the baby!!! A new baby niece (sort of)! I'm an Auntie (kinda) again!! Kelly is a hella woman for that long labor! Whoooo Doggies! Finished my 7th 5K today - the Jungle Bell Run for Arthritis on the North Side. I beat my best time. I finished in 49:13 - under 50 minutes!!! WOOOO!!! Still don't run most of it; I'm just walking faster now that I have less thigh ( Read more... )
