I don't think I ever mentioned it, but the reason this summer has been so busy is because I am the resident supervisor for this year's Odyssey Writing Workshop in New Hampshire

If you want to escape the chain stores, try Newbury Comics. It's a chain store, too, but a *comic* chain store. Plus, there's secondhand music for that long drive home, and DVDs to add to your collection. There's one in Manchester, on the same road as the airport (Willow/28). You just turn north off the highway instead of south to the airport.

I found another comic shop called Double Midnight, it's just across the river. I'm planning to go back there at least once this week.
