We took no 5-mile walk today.

We headed for one of our favorite County parks and met my friend Char there.

She is just coming out of quarantine, as she was exposed to Covid. She is also dealing with a lesion on her brain, so I haven't seen much of her.

Our long-awaited reunion was cut short when Pluto came limping up to me. I thought he probably

The Fehu, a rune, right there in the tree I see. I use to have a bag of runes and their meanings which I gave to a dear friend.

Oh, poor Pluto! I hope his foot heals swiftly. Does he let you at least look at an injury?

He would not let me even look at for a few hours after it happened. It is cut and today it appears a bit inflamed. But the cut is small--maybe 3/8 of an inch long and not very deep.

I have put some salve on it twice and he promptly iicks it off.

I actually touched it today and he gave me a dirty look and slunk away. I will continue to monitor it.

I hope Pluto heals well, too. He was limping a bit last night.
