sorry for the massive slew of posts here f-list! Got really behind in my copy-overs!While recently drawing up my "to do" list of things whilst self-publishing, (you know, things like "Find an editor~") something that made it's way towards the bottom was "Get professional photos taken". Authors photos. Oh, they're something that make me wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat.

Christopher Moore has had some really goofy ones for his books, and I mean that in a good way. There's one of him in one of those Chuck E Cheese ball pits that always cracks me up. I think having the style of photo match the style of your work is a really good idea. Except for Laurel K Hamilton, who just looks like a crazed vampire wannabe. ;)
