- I'm happy because I just go word from IT (aka gonj ) that we will be moving my webpage from Google to a real server. So I will be stumbling through that for a while now. Plus I will be able to do a lot more things with it.

Yeah...that's what I though. Though I talked to more of the people that went last year and the homework is pretty easy if you pay attention. I think most of it come DIRECTLY out of the reading. So...it shouldn't be that bad. I was just surprised.

When I read your post the other day, it reminded me of a conversation I had with your sister a month or two ago. I'm just getting to making a comment now though due to LJ being blocked at work...

In a nutshell, would you be interested in doing genealogy on my family? It is something I would love to have but haven't even begun the thought process yet not to mention time. If you're interested, I can send you whatever starting information you need and we can talk about other particulars. If not, that's fine.

I would TOTALLY be interested!!! I'm alwasy looking for new avenues to persue. If anyone else is interested, the more the merrier!

Here's the info I need:

- The names, approx. birth dates, and general birth locations of people in your family that were born before 1930 and their relation to you. (Prefered is grandparents or great-grandparents.)

This will allow me to use my Ancestry.com memebership to check for them in the 1930 US Census (the most recent census that is available "online"). Then I can go from there searching as far back as the 1850 census. Plus there are other resourses like state info (marriage, birth, etc.) that are also available online.
