NRA woes...

So….I just had to make a couple weird phone calls, not so much weird, but just phone calls that I didn’t feel comfortable making from my cubical.

The deal that my father and I have between us is that I will probably end up inheriting all of his guns and weapons since my sister probably won’t want them and has really not shown much interest in them ( Read more... )

I have (and sometimes carry) an NRA Non-Member card.

So I can use the ranges, don'tcha know.

I wasn't raggin' on my dad, just at having to go into an office to talk to him. Actually, I got into an office whenever I have personal stuff to talk about. I'm not very keen on sharing with my over-the-cube-wall neighbors.

When reading your post a very similar dialogue was going through my head.... "Yes Dad, the NRA. Yes so I can get all those guns. Yes the ones we talked about that you don't use and I need. Yes, those guns, I really want them, so you need to call and make the arrangements with the guy at this number.. and then it will all be taken care of.... No I can't talk anymore right now, I am at work and people are starting to look at me."
