it's been about a week now since I got the news on my cholesterol - which wasn't good.  During the 6 months of real serious eye illness I was head down, couldn't move, couldn;t lift nothing.  My cholesterol was 203.  Well 1 yr later and it's spiked to 210 overall and 131 for my bad.  so it's diet time, no excuses as my mothers family history is ( Read more... )

I was on weight watchers the end of 05, I lost about 15lbs and I was working out at the Gym, I loved it, then got into a car accident, and got depressed and havent dieted since. 2 years later, I'm still depressed about my car accident, maybe I never got over it? who knows, but I know how hard it is to make the WANT to diet...its so hard with all those yummy foods around! When I was on weight watchers, I practically became vegetarian because meat made up so many points and I wanted to eat more throughout the day, so I started eating those morning star meals and baca burgers, they are good!! Oh and egg beaters are really good, make an omlet or scrambled eggs with other things, super good.

good luck though, I do know how hard it can be!!

I've actually taken a liking to ground turkey and the family has as well. we did meatloaf and meatballs this week. I've been paying for the online weight tracker from ww for a bout two yrs (not using it, how stupid) so I'm logging all my food. We did whole wheat pasta and multi-grain bread, tons of salad and fat free italian isn't bad on the side. I made my hubby fajitas the other night and used pita bread instead of wraps due to the fat content and the store didn't have the low-fat wraps, he loved them. Mcd's cones are great. I bought a new battery last week, put it in today - now last week was with jeans and a shirt, today just with the house coat, but it was down 5 lbs and about same time of morning. So I figure I'm good for about 3 lbs. Which from weight watchers I remember that healthy weight comes off slow. I have not exercised once, we got more snow and I need a fan for the equipment as our basement has radiant floor heating - 70 degree hot ( ... )
