WOW.
Dude, I was so pleasantly surprised with Alias last night! I mean, I had a genuinely good time watching, and I was like WTF! at the end, which is a serious accomplishment for season 4. I mean, really, really folks.
- When Vaughn was all "sekrit against the APO mission" i was a bit annoyed. I kept thinking, "this is like a bad promo preview of Vaughn's new series, aptly titled "VAUGHN" where he runs around with evil cohorts", and at one point I started to hum the Angel theme music when he stood with his crew and got accused of "brooding"---
- The way I wanted the story to go was: Bill Vaughn is alive! And Evil! And he's behind Vaughn's evildoings! And Bill and Irina are working together, because neither one is dead, and they have been in love all this time, and...etc.etc. Unfortunately, that didn't work out for me. Oh well, because--
- Sloane! WTF!
And since we're back to the WTF I guess that pretty much expressed my general sentiment. But overall, I thought that Nadia/Weiss were still cute, thought spydaddy's impending genetic mutation/cellular breakdown spelled imminent angst, that Vaughn is not getting a spin-off show because it would get cancelled the first time it aired, that the ol' chocolate eating/Irina didn't kill you/the music box of mysteries revealed was interesting, and then I mentioned the Sloane! WTF!
Anyway, I was pleasantly surprised. I cross my fingers that next week's will start a trend of goodness.
I need to read Lara's new fic. Like, yesterday. It's on my to do list.
Well, off to Thursday, I guess.
