So, last night I make the mistake of visiting TV Guide.com to check out the VM return ep, as my new release of the shiny magazine reported a reair of "Blast from the Past on 1/18. So, here comes the PSA:

DON'T GO TO TVGUIDE.COM and search VM unless you want to be spoiled silly about the next ep. So, it's time for me to rant about this. Please don ( Read more... )

I think they are. I rarely read anything on TV Guide anymore because they always seem to give stuff away that I didn't know. And I love Entertainment Weekly but it still makes me wonder how in tune they are with the fandom world when less than a week after characters on Lost died, they are printing it on the cover of their magazine. I'm like, ya know, some people may TiVo stuff like that and not watch it for weeks.

And it's a whole other thing on the boards. I've tried to stay unspoiled for shows but I always can kind of figure out what is going to happen from context clues of people who are spoiled. I don't want to be one of those people that keeps telling people not to talk about anything, but I try to be considerate about it in my own journal. Like don't watch this preview if you don't want to know anything, etc. You have to be really careful, I guess.

Guess what I just got in my mailbox? The tape I tried to send you a month ago. It has "No Such Resident" stamped on the outside. You might want to go talk to your apartment peeps! How weird is that ( ... )

That is so weird. Even weirder is that the tape is the only thing I've had problems getting. The mail may be a little slow, but I usually get everything I expect/need. Except for a book, which I have to go pick up at the post office. Now I'm weirded out. I exist!

I was very surprised when I read that the contents of the fortune cookie were revealed in an article for the show's toughest competition and I don't mind being spoiled. I have to wonder why RT allowed for it to get out like that, did he think it would bring in viewers? I don't get him.
