I don't try to, but someone told me the other day that I have one of those "don't-talk-to-me" faces most of the time. I really wish I looked happy/friendly, but it's just not in the cards.

I don't think either one of you have a "don't talk to me face". You both are like big teddy bears (yes I know that may seem kind of gay). I on the other hand, feel like I walk around with a bit of a frown or a furrowed brow. Its not intentional. I'm not mad at the world. I don't want to keep anyone away. I'm just usually so caught up in my head, so focused on something else that I just end up looking like a bitch. And to make it worse, I think I'm already starting to get those frown lines on my forehead.

I don't think you are. And, the reason you don't think I have one of those looks most of the time is because whenever someone I know is around, I'm usually talking to them, so I'm happy/friendly looking. However, when I'm walking around by myself, I just have an emotionless to slighly pissed look without trying.
