My DH Pt 1 Review - Squeeish, gibberish, general incoherant babling && spoilers
Ummm… Well, first off, woah. I honestly thought that Half-Blood Prince was going to be my favourite Harry Potter film, forever. Lo and behold. It was simply, utterly incredible.
So, I’ll start with Draco/Tom. GQMF, please, don’t ever remove that suit, Tom. I don’t even care that he was only in two or three scenes, he stole each of them. He had barely any lines, and yet… He managed to steal scenes from Helena Bonham Carter, Jason Issacs and Ralph Finnes; for goodness sake! Really! When Voldemort kills Burbage; I actually cried when Draco cried. My heart broke when I saw the remorse in his face…
When the Snatchers take Ron, Harry and Hermione to Malfoy Manor (which I adored but I’ll get to that later) I got the sense that Tom may have been playing up his shipping of Drarry YOU ALL KNOW WHAT I MEAN. Seriously, it’s the only explaination for eyesex that occured between them in such a dire situation. They have, even with Harry suffering the effects of Hermione’s Stinging Jinx, more chemistry than magnesium and fire.
Chemistry aside, it was Tom who stole that scene. He had this rather distressing, take me with you, please, I don’t want to do this look on his face when Dobby was disapparating with everyone from the cellar of Malfoy Manor. It broke my heart when I watched him watching Harry leaving…

When Bill introduced himself, I almost fell out of my chair. He reminded me of Fred & George in the fourth film; similar hair, similar smile. Gorgeous in a cheeky kinda way…
The Head Snatcher was fucking gorgeous. I don’t even care. DAMN.
Young Grindlewald… All I have to say was that I was glad they made him have the same hair he had when he was in Sweeny Todd.
&& The TWINS.
Okay, so I don’t usually ship them. USUALLY. But DAMN. Fred/George. I don’t even care. The scene after George loses his ear; Fred rushes to his side, and there is SUCH A MOMENT.

The casting (I’m talking guest stars such as Bill Nighy) was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING.
I have to give props to DanRad for being able to pull off that dress of Fleur’s. Seriously. And for being a better actor than both Bonnie Wright and Emma Watson put together.
SPEAKING OF BONNIE WRIGHT. I don’t care that Harry/Ginny is canon. I don’t. But seriously. NO CHEMISTRY- IT’S JUST AWKWARD.
Ohmilord Malfoy Manor. I wish we could have seen more of it! It was exactly as I imagined it. Particularly the hall and the dining room <3… It was so beautiful, and so perfect! I actually want to live on that set. Also, if Daddy Malfoy just left Azkaban; why was his hair perfect? I was a bit like; wtf? Seriously, Malfoy Manor was amazing.
I offically agree with a canon pairing. Hermione/Ron. I really like it; particularly the way Rupert and Emma played it; it was so cute.
THE VISION-HORCRUX-KISS BETWEEN HARRY & HERMIONE NEVER HAPPENED.
All the Death Eaters are extremely charismatic; if not easy on the eye. There are a few that are lacking in looks, but there are definately some that are incredibly goodlooking.
My final score? 9/10.
