What you said about Toma's choice and about the book was very interesting. Thank you.
I have not read the book [hard to get translated Japanese books other than the 2 Murakamis and the classics]. Actually, I don't usually care for that kind of hero.
Nevertheless, I am at least curious to see Toma in the role. I think he was wise to try to avoid getting typecast.
I am pleased his career is going well. I hope Nou Otoko has as much success as the 2 Bokuras!
thanks for the insights! :) i'm very happy toma decided to branch out and try something else. the prince charming stuff is nice, but it's not good to be type-cast. and i LOVE seeing actors in a variety of roles. something about seeing them completely capture one character, and then be capable of being another completely different character is very fascinating to me, and a sign of a great actor. plus, i agree those fangirls need a good shock! lol! i'm very excited, i can't wait to see this movie!
i am glad too that he chose this over the other role. It just goes on to show his versatility and improves him as an actor too. In a film where he hardly has any huge dialogues to speak, everything completely relies on how he conveys through his acting, and that would show his true ability as an actor. If this film does well, then it would mean a lot to him. And I'm glad to see that it is actually doing well! ^_^ Thanks for the summary! ^_^
thank you so much for this!! ~_~ i'm so curious about what he's been saying about the movie.
i'm glad toma decided to take this role instead of the other one. though i'm kinda scared to see him as a killer in the movie, but i'm so proud of him for taking this difficult role. and the movie is doing so well! i'm glad we get to see a different side of toma.
i want to watch this movie so bad!! i guess there's no chance that it'll be released overseas? =T only hanamizuki was released in theatres in many different countries.
Then, I'm glad that he took this role. I love his acting skill, especially Nakatsu one. That was the role that makes me fall in love with him. I'm not really fond of romantic kind of stories. I'll still watching it if Toma or my other favorite actors played it. I saw the trailer. He gave me goosebump just from the trailer. Not yet read the book, hard to find one even in Japanese book store like kinokuniya. So, I can't comment much about media promotion. I'm just hoping that one publisher interested to translate it *with Platina Data too XD, sorry, I'm biased* ^^ I'm sure this movie will come out good ^^; can't wait to watch this :D
