Currently listening to Yuki Kajiura's instrumentals at the moment to try and unsucessfully lull myself to sleep. She creates such a diverse range of music and you can't help but get sucked into them, even as short as they are.

Some of my more favorite tracks of hers are:

Music to Listen To :) )

That's why I have a sleep machine to help me sleep. It's basically this little device that plays an hour or so of soothing sounds, like waves crashing or distant thunder. I have mild tinnitus from drumline so I hate the silence at night and the sleep machine helps. Do you have her songs on a CD or something?

I tried a sleep machine when I was at a friend's house, but it just kept me awake, haha. I either listen to Yuki Kajiura on my iPod or Celtic Woman, depending :)

I listened to all those songs, and I think Fairyland is my favourite right now. I would have liked Hear Our Prayer and Labyrinth a little better if they had been in stereo sound. I like to lose myself in the music I listen to, and I can't do that when it's not surround-sound. Even so, the music was lovely and I wish I owned all of this woman's stuff so I could pick some other songs of hers to enjoy! :D

I sleep with an electric fan on almost every night, even in winter. It's soothing for me. It doesn't help me sleep at night when I'm out of whack, but I hate sleeping without it. :D

A Song of Storm and Fire ♥♥♥♥

I remember the first time I heard it was when it played in Tsubasa: Reservoir Chronicles and I ended up replaying that scene about ten times just to hear the song again. ^^'

Just finished listening to all of Yuki Kajiura's pieces and my favorite of hers (that you've listed here) has to be Fairyland. There's also a part of me that thinks that I've heard Hear Our Prayers before, but I'm not a hundred percent sure.

"A Song of Storm and Fire" was actually the very first thing I heard from Kajiura and I was instantly sold on her music. I've seen a bit of Tsubasa before, though I'v focused more on the manga than the anime.

"Fairyland" is such a gorgeous song because it mixes so many elements together...and it still gives me goosebumps listening to it each time ♥

Haha, the reason you might have heard "Hear Our Prayer" is because that one is also played in Tsubasa. Either way, I fell in love with this song too. Of the songs I have here, Fairyland and Hear Our Prayer are the prettiest ones :)
