A Little Green Monster: Megane's Birthday Payback
Title: A Little Green Monster
Pairing: YatChii with Kamiki in a GANTZ-like appearance *yay, no sense xD*
Notes: Giri-giri safe~ once again xD Random because my brain is not working properly, gomeeeeeeen~! A random night out between the lovers 8D And yay suspicious xDDD
Summary: And they call it jealousy, that little green monster. No, not that glass used in windows.

Monster
The two of them were seated comfortably in front of the television set, watching one of their favorite shows together. "Arashi ni Shiyagare" had just finished, and now "Kaibutsu-kun" was playing on the TV. It may seem a little childish that the two of them would watch something as the prince of the Monster Realm in his quest to be the next rightful king, and to strike a balance between the three coexisting realms including the Human and the Demon Realm. But Ohno Satoshi was the lead part in this drama. That alone justifies their argument, and they blissfully continue watching. The opening spiel plays, and a funny-looking guy with big ears and a weird hat showed up on the screen.
"Uwa, Ohno-kuuuuun~" Chinen and Yatsuiko said in unison, causing the both of them to laugh at the way they're acting. They were in Chinen's apartment, unwinding from another tiring day at work. Yatsuiko was leaning on Chinen's shoulder, and Chinen smiled and opened his arms so she was now in his embrace. He continued watching with her, not noticing the pretty little blush that colored her cheeks. Slowly she let her arm encircle his waist, and as she smiled to herself it was now her turn to miss the blush that was now evident in his face.
A commercial comes. Time to stretch their limbs and move about. But both of them felt too comfortable already; they did not feel the need to change positions. Why would they, when they found their favorite spot in the world. There wasn't any logical explanation for movement. None at all.
At least, not until that fateful commercial came on TV.
"Uwa, sugoi, Kamiki-kun's going to be in a new SP drama~ and he's going to play the piano, sugoiiiiiiiii ♥~" she said in a voice that she reserves for flailing and fangirling. Usually Chinen would smile at this sight. But him being Chinen Yuri, he couldn't afford seeing anyone flailing for other people when he was present and available. Especially her for him. Concerts are an exception, but always he would want her attention. At right now, her attention was somthing he did not have.
"Eh, Kamiki-kun's SP is going to air soon ne~" he said softly. Yatsuiko doesn't notice and continues flailing over the TV screen. The slightly offended guy pouts and goes into a grumpy mode, the scary type that the rest of JUMP knows best to avoid. Yatsuiko doesn't notice.
Kaibustu-kun comes back on. The comfortable spot seems to be forgotten. They were having an episode about love, of all things. Umika shows up on the screen. Chinen looks at Yatsuiko to gauge her reaction while relating a story of Umika doing that "What is love" tutorial in class to them for practice. And yet, she wasn't even watching. She was grading papers from the preschool. Then Chinen kind of explodes in a calm way.
"Ne, what's so good about Kamiki-kun that you keep flailing over him so hard?" he asks, VERY CALMLY.
"Well, he's a very good actor even if sometimes he get scary roles. He still has that aura about him that is very much him, whatever role he plays. He's so cute when it comes to intervies, especially during the time he was shooting [Tantei Gakuen Q]. He's a voice actor for a lot of my favorite movies from Ghibli. And the list goes on♥~" Yatsuiko answered, complete with hands clasped before her and kira-kira eyes. Enough to get a full-on tantrum from him if she was anyone else. Instead he just grumbled beneath his breath in frustration.
"What's so good about him... besides, Kamiki-kun has Mirai-chan already," he mumbles in an undertone.
"Of course I know that already; I personally support the both of them anyway," she said with a happy sigh. Chinen looked up in surprise and stared at Yatsuiko in what could only be described as shock. Yatsuiko laughs and pokes his cheeks in amusement.
"...don't tell me you're jealous of him?" Chinen doesn't respond, but his face couldn't be a better giveaway. Yatsuiko then puts down her work and assures Chinen that Kamiki would always be just an awesome guy that she would always admire. Chinen starts to protest but Yatsuiko puts a finger to his lips.
"But Yuri-kun is the most awesome guy I would ever meet. I'll always admire him the most, because he was the one who made me believe that there was such a thing as soulmates after all."
A smile exchanged. Fingers, hands, arms, bodies entwined into a hug filled with love and silly appologies. The little green monster squished out of existence, forgotten, to be remembered again as a fond memory, nothing more. They then go back to watch another kind of adorable monster, their most comfortable spot rediscovered. All's well that ends well.
