I have my life back!

...meaning statistics is over!!!! I passed the class from Hell!! With a B+!!!!

So yeah, for the last 5 weeks, my life was basically this: Wake up b/w 5-6am, eat breakfast, drink coffee, study, get ready by 7:30, walk to class, sit through stats from 8am-9:30, study frantically for quiz, sit through stats lab from 9:45-11:15, walk to penland, eat lunch, go to work from 1pm-5:45/6pm, go home, eat dinner, study/do homework (or cry to mother/friends/etc about how much I don't want to do homework, with the occasional drama episode stuck in for rebellion) until 10-10:30pm (IF I WAS LUCKY. More like 11:30-12). And then repeat. FOR FIVE WEEKS.

Now, take into mind that my work ethic when it comes to school is about, oh, -100. But I did every single piece of homework and studied more than I've ever studied in my life. And I was PRAYING for a C, but I managed to get a B+, so I'm ecstatic and off the wall. I think I pulled it off because I got the highest lab grade and I squeaked a B on the final. Amazingly.

One bad thing about doing well, is that it makes my decision about my major more difficult. If I stick with Psychology, I have to do more statistics, but I did get a B+ and none of the classes hereafter are anywhere near as hard. However, if I switch to Professional Writing, I get to do an internship AND I don't have to go to grad school. Which means less money spent. My parents seem to like Professional Writing, so I think I might go with that.

Anyways, now I'm in summer session II, and I'm taking Brit Lit (because I put it off since I was afraid to read Heart of Darkness), and Relaxation and Fitness. I had always heard Relaxation and Fitness was the 'nap class.' Well, they were WRONG. It's a yoga class! And not just a yoga class, a POWER yoga class. So it looks like fun, but it wasn't what I was expecting.

Other than that...there's not much. Except SUPER JUNIOR NEED NAME TAGS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously. I learn who they all are in one PV, and then when I watch another their hair and everything is different and then I can't recognize them! I can only recognize Heechul (&hearts &hearts Love love love him!), Donghae, Hankyung, Shindong, and sometimes Sungmin, Leetuk, and Eunhyuk. Oh, and Ryeowook, but I can't stand him. His eyebrows/eyes creep me out. At least it's a majority.

I finally tried the Iced Latte from McDonalds. It IS pretty good, but I still like Starbucks. :)

I've been trying to write a short science fiction/fantasy story for a contest, but there are only 11 days until it has to be submitted, and I don't think I'll be able to finish it. If I hadn't TAKEN FREAKING STATISTICS I probably could have, but oh well.

OH! One last thing. I decided I'm going to try and take the level 2 test of the JLPT this december. I don't know if that's very smart, because my kanji skills are WAY behind, but I'm going to try. I'll have to study like crazy though, since I can't take any japanese class this fall. ;____; Maybe sensei will let me have a private study or something.

OH! AHIRU-MAMA! WE SHOULD ORGANIZE A JAPANESE STUDY GROUP AMONG THE JSA MEMBERS! Something that's not Japan table, because that's only once a week, and kind of doesn't work well. We should have a focused study group. Like we pick something every week to work on, like kanji or grammar structures or reading or speaking....that kind of thing.

stats from hell, super junior makes me crazy
