Ahn? What are your plans for the week away from your room, Yuushi?

I intend to end my seclusion in style, of course, by leaving the country.

We all do, Yuushi. I for one am accompanying Tezuka to Germany with associated pests. Where is your destination of choice? If you were a decent friend, you'd take Yukimura.

Of course you are. It seems a regular enough occurrence on your holidays, mm? Europe is what I have in mind all the same. Rome, in fact, since I promised Shishido as much.

Why would I? We have classes and we're in different grades so I can't tag along with him every minute of the day.

I'm having Eiji prepare a dinner though.

I was rather enquiring about midnight, Hikaru, whether you'd be with him to ring in the birthday, so to speak.

I promise I won't intrude on your time, naturally.

Won't be.

Brilliant, I will take the liberty of disrupting his sleep in that case.

What are the odds you want to come along to see how it plays out, mm?

I believe you speak for the entire campus in saying you are impatient.

The Riviera or some place more exotic?

We seem to be caught in a time warp that doesn't seem intent on moving.

Rome, in fact, if circumstances permit. The Riviera was an option until Kenya and Hikaru announced plans for France.

Perhaps we should inquire who has been messing with the space-time continuum.

Sounds wonderful. I prefer the smaller towns in Italy, but Rome has its own particular charm, especially if you avoid the more famed tourist attractions.

Unsurprisingly, I suspect it would be one Atobe Keigo.

I think we might be forced to visit some of the more cliched locations, but a city so seeped in history is bound to be fascinating. The only other stop I had in mind is Florence, which should also prove a worthwhile stop.

Are you going someplace interesting, Yuushi-sama?

Rome, Ohtori-kun. I half suspect your spring break will be at the nearest Buddhist monastery?

Rome? Perhaps I should suggest we head there as well, with all the reading I've been doing, but if you're there Oishi-sama's sure to want to be on the other side of the continent. That sounds wonderful.

I don't know where we'll be, Oishi-sama's not decided yet.

It ought to be quite the experience.

Hmm, then here's to the promise of an equally wonderful experience for you as well.

Hell yes! I've been dying to sneak a peek at what you've been writing. And you got a call back? That's awesome.

Why do you want to go back to Tokyo? Something wrong with the bike?

Rome~!?

Then I hope it doesn't disappoint and look forward to your input. Although... how likely is it that I got the call back because she wanted to talk to me again?

Not at all, it's due Tuesday evening and I am hoping we can spring it on Kenya at midnight. I was thinking about our other... encounter during the trip.

You're losing your touch if you don't remember, Shishido ^^

Dissapoint? Don't be lame. And it doesn't matter if she just wanted to flirt or whatever as long as she still takes the book, right?

Really? Why?

I remember, just checking that it's still on.

Nonsense, it could always happen that it doesn't accomplish what I intend it to. And certainly, what could possibly be wrong in using the ... resources... available to suit a greater good.

Because I've been doing some surprisingly productive thinking of the feasibility of giving them a hand, so to speak.

Definitely. Rome and Florence, I thought, although Tezuka speaks of quaint villages.
