Kiku and Luciano
The other day I was at the bookstore and I saw a book entitled
"BRAZIL & JAPAN: 100 years of passion"
LOL poor Kiku... Anyways, I decided to draw this:
I think their friendship would be amusing... Kiku would definetely feel overwhelmed, with Luciano dragging him to Carnaval and parties (but I think Kiku would really come to love Caipirinha).
When I was in Japan, and I told a teacher that in Brazil it was common to greet someone by kissing their cheek, even if it's someone you've just met. She said "Sore wa sexual harrassment!". I had a similar cultural shock when I tried to hug my host-family mom when I got back from Tokyo... I spread out my arms and she just stood there going "hai hai tadaima tadaima". So I think these are some differences this duo would face... But I have a feeling Kiku would just go with it, though reluctantly (or not).
