Some things I've been wondering, from varying sources of geekdom:

In the world of the offline:
#. Jessi, what's the approximation for Holoduek's email we came up with? @hcst.edu? .com? .org? Did I even spell the man's name right? xD

Haven't really followed comics for a while, but the local library gets some good graphic novels in sometimes. I read part of Hush that way. Jim Lee was my favorite artist back in the day. Once in high school my friends and I went to a convention (yeah, that's right) to meet him. He had just grabbed a hot dog when we got up there and realized he needed condiments. He asked if one of us would go, and i was right about to when my friend did. When he got back, Lee drew him a quick sketch of Wolverine on one of his backing boards. Ugh, that should have been mine.

Jim Lee is awesome in ANY day. I remember when Gen13 was all the rage, and Jim Lee drew two issues, and it made the entire rest of the series look like CRAP.
And then Campbell moved on to Danger Girl and completely forgot the basics of the female anatomy, but hey, big boobs + inhumanly small waists = huge sales, apparently. ^^;;;

And comic conventions are shameless because they are giant dealer's rooms. xD None of the faggy shit that anime conventions are. I met Alex Ross at one years ago. He signed my books and I called him god. He blushed. \:D/

Apparently Alex Ross lives about 10 minutes from me. He's just a suburban dork XD.

i like smallville a lot! this guy i know mark loves smallville and he's the hugest superman fan that i know, so i think that if he likes it (and he is ALWAYS pointing out allusions to the canon) then it must be pretty close to canon..

not trying to make you spend more money on DVDs, though. ^.~
