The next day, Fukurou was gossiping with the nurse and Jyabura was pretending not to listen when they also received an unexpected visitor: the door crashed open to reveal a tiny old woman with a mane of pink hair who cut short Kumadori’s delighted cry of “OKAAA-SANN!” by screeching: “You have brought shame upon our family!!”

Oh my god, poor Kumadori. XDD That is amazing. And...dude...Fukurou did something nice. That is a cross between awesome and scary.

HAHAHAAAAA! Lordy me, your characterisation in this one is spot-on! Kumadori, Yamabako, Jyabura, Fukurou, even Blueno - just brilliant. And Fukurou being vaguely nice to Kumadori - that says reams about what his mother is like. XD

And the dialogue between Fukurou and Jyabura - I can't wait to see more of their "teamwork". XD
