I'm slightly angry with my mom... Two days before leaving Field Training, I was finally able to call home for the first time. I had asked her to pick me up from the airport with the rest of my family, but what does she tell me? They're driving to Michigan that day! So, They're in Michigan and I'm in Florida. :-(

It would have been really good to get home and see you again.

I was going to fly up, but that is too expensive on such short notice. And I could only be gone a couple of days because I just missed 6 weeks of work... getting more time off at this point for personal reasons isn't going to work. Unfortunately. :-(
