Even if he was a little sad that he couldn’t celebrate it at home. That won't stop him from letting the rest of the world know about it though. Turning fourteen is a very exciting thing

that's a pretty easy puzzle, though. the son's age has to be half of the dad's age, so the dad's 44.

[Considering the last Sentret he helped pulled the cute act only to attempt to scratch Luke's face, the boy is legit terrified of this thing.]

[Killua was on his way to the shops when he see what happened to Luke. That had to be the saddest thing he's seen in a while. However he's going to help the poor sap and then make fun of him.]

Ok!! Let's see...

The father is saying that if you add half of his age to the son's age, you'll get his age! In that case, the son has to be half the age of the father.
