So about six months ago I broke the liner on my crock pot. I kept meaning to replace it and I never got around to it. I sat down tonight to find a replacement liner and the internet is failing me! I know I found one on Amazon or crockpot.com at one point. The machine was bought new only 15 months ago so I'm hoping the model isn't discontinued! Can ( Read more... )

E-mail crock pot.com with the particulars (the site goes by visuals, not numbers).

I wouldn't go on eBay for something that needs to be new and just right so it doesn't food-poison your family.

I had this exact same problem like three days ago. I broke the crock - is that what you mean by liner? - on my crockpot over the weekend. It was impossible to find a replacement, and I came to the conclusion that it's likely because replacing the crock is as expensive as replacing the whole thing. I'm now in the market for a new crockpot, so if you have any recommendations I'm all ears!

Yeah, the ceramic part is what I mean. I know I found a replacement on either amazon or crockpot.com for like $15.00, but that was months and months ago. I do think it's possible, though!

If you do find it, I would love to know where! All I've been able to find are lids.

have you tried their support desk, or even the 800 number? I've had good luck with it

It's been a few years since I broke mine. I was in no rush however, and started checking Goodwill, etc. I got one at Deseret Industries for $9.99. A boil and a scrub, and I've used it on and off, since. I'm not afraid of buying "used", since I know how to clean things, and since, once I use it, I still have to clean it! I broke mine while washing it in the kitchen sink when my hands were soapy, ! Learned a lesson that day. (o:

I also found out that Crock Pot is a name that belongs to the Rival Corp. So, when looking for such things, it's good to know that the rest of the manufactures usually use the words, Slow Cooker. It might make a difference when doing an internet search. :o)

Good way to go, being able to see the goods like at DI is much less problematic than a fingers-crossed online used purchase.
