My husband just got some blood test results back saying that he has high cholesterol and needs to make a change in diet and lifestyle. I'm excited to start this journey with him, but as the primary cook in our household have no idea where to start

oatmeal is also good for cholesterol. but don't get the instant stuff as it is so processed it doesn't do a damn thing
avoid dairy. as much as I love the stuff, it does make cholesterol climb (damn I love cheese)
also, add exercise. that will really help with the cholesterol just as much as changing the food
