Steam Washer/Dryers

I'm in the market for a new washer/dryer.  I've been doing a bit of researching into the steam washer/dryers but have seen a lot of varying opinions.  Some say it's super awesome, energy efficient to the max, gentle on the clothing etc. Others say it's not worth the hassle because it takes 2 + hours to do one load of laundry and that the "cold ( Read more... )

You can not use a steam/sanitize setting on cloth diapers.

Having washed cloth diapers in several different washers over the years, I will say nothing gets them as clean consistently as a regular, top-loading, water-filling washer. When looking for a HE top loader, a salient point was the ability to control water level and fill the basin.

I can't speak to steam, but my plain old top loader is way better on diapers than my HE front loader ever was.
