My husband is on the HOA board in our community. A couple of piece of shit teenagers keep destroying the lights that point to the neighborhood sign at the entrance and we're tired of buying new ones.
Does anyone have lights that are unbreakable? Or have any ideas on how to make it harder for them to break?

An you install a security camera, so you can at least catch the culprits? We have one of those you use when you go hunting. I think it is motion activated. Or at least place the lights up high so it makes them harder to break?

Can you backlight the writing on the sign? Then you could get away with smaller, less delicate and harder to reach and break LED lights, plus you would have less light pollution than you would if you are shining spots on the sign.

Destructive vandalism is a matter of quick rewards, hard work and vandals don't tend to mix, so you just make destroying the lights too hard.
