I agree with you... but it's bothersome to see that the films nearly tied with "Religulous" showing on a third of the screens.

I know. But ultimately Hollywood cares about the gross total made. I'm happy if Religulous showed on fewer screens, I look forward to it fading into obscurity. Even if David Zucker made only a little more money, I'm still happy.

Consider that Bill Maher is a big name, that it would be so much easier to market a movie blasting organized religion, and that a movie from an obvious conservative perspective even being greened for production in Hollywood is a miracle. Those things considered, I am happy AAC even made pennies more that Religulous.
