With the 2008 election come and gone, now is the time for me to start my path into politics. The journal is being created with a two-fold purpose in mind.

In these parts prospective candidates are required to join Toastmasters.

I have a problem with the "required" part, because I think there are other alternatives, but the group can be a good way to hone your speech writing and giving skills.
