"Holy Snapping Turtles Batman!"
Ah, the White Rock bus driver. She was soooo funny. LOL.
So my mom came out to visit me last week. We went to a bunch of places I'd never been before and I took a lot of pictures!
White Rock:
We went out to White Rock because Jen wanted to see where they filmed Psych. When we got there, we found that it was really really pretty out there!
The Pier, commonly seen in 'Psych'.
Of course, you can't go to White Rock without taking a picture of the 'white rock'. LOL.
After walking around along the shore and the Pier, we went across the street and had a delicious orange & pineapple muffin with a glass of lemonade.
Lynn Canyon Park:
The park really wasn't that hard to get to. Seabus across to the North Shore, then one bus and you're there.
The suspension bridge. Unlike Capilano, this one is free. Shorter, and less intimidating too. lol.
These next few were taken while standing on the suspension bridge as it kind of bounced while people were walking along it:

I didn't do much today for my birthday, went to work, went to the mall with Jen, came home. We did the birthday thing on Friday after our travels to Lynn Canyon Park. Dinner at the Old Spaghetti Factory in Gastown, and Jen hijacked my email to surprise me by inviting Mavis and her sister Janis to dinner. It was a very nice surprise :). There was also chocolate cake.
I have to work our 'not mandatory but you have to come in' team overtime tomorrow, ick. I'm now 'full-time' on the game, even though I've been on it full-time for like 4 weeks already! I also have to work 'team overtime' Thursday, Sunday, and 3 more days next week. Doesn't that sound super fun! :S
