Fireworks last night were great. Wasn't hard to find them either -the sea of people moving in the same direction was kind of a hint. lol. They were pretty good, they had some interesting ones, but kind of seemed to use mostly the same type for the majority of the show. The finale was pretty awesome though :). I love fireworks. Ah, Ikea.. Such fun. The neighours got some Ikea furniture a few months back and have now packed our communal laundry with the boxes. Grr. Oh well. If I ever move out, I'll just nick them to pack my stuff in. There's a plan.

I can imagine how crazy it was with the fireworks. We had an insane time trying to film in the city on New Year's Eve. We had two camera crews(I was with one that was shooting the crowd at the Arts Centre, the other was shooting at Federation Square) and we had to have security guards! People see tv cameras and lose the plot!

Yeah, and now I have to wait another additional hour for them to come. They called at 10am saying they were already running behind ...

They had a lot of CCU (Crowd Control Unit) Police officers out last night. I think I saw the majority of them around the skytrain. Which makes perfect sense, considering the sheer volume of people trying to get on the train to get back home. I only waited in line for about 10-15 minutes for a train, which is a lot better than I was expecting.

How annoying. I think waiting for deliveries has to be the most annoying thing ever.

That's not a bad wait. If we have a fireworks event here, you can be waiting hours for a train!!

Woah? Sg1 S10 boxset is out already? I don't think we've even had the S9 boxset out here yet! Just the extortionatly prices volumes. :(

OMG its like 4632589432532056302563025 billion times cheaper to get dvds and well... anything from north america than it is to buy the region 2 shit they sell here.
