Everything JM says about it not being bad, and people liking it when they see it is getting less and less likely.

And there are pics of Kari Wuhrer on JM's blog. She has Teyla coloured hair now, and she looks NOWHERE near 40. Which is her actual age.

I don't Ali. I mean it would serve JM right if his stupid show got cancelled but somehow I don't believe it's going to happen. I'm afraid that he'll be right in that sooner of later people will accept the changes and like the show the way it now because that's the way things usually work in the world of tv. I just lack the optimism to believe that it'll be different this time.

Well not necessarily. There are people that don't like changes like that and will stop watching, or boycott the show or whatever. But then again, even SG-1 lasted 2 additional years without O'Neill and that was a MAJOR casting change as well that people weren't too happy about. There are shows that can survive lots of cast changes (take ER for example, cause OMG are there even any original cast members left??), and then there are others that fans just can't stand and shows get the axe

The thing is, mainstream, maybe. Scifi, people are more invested in shows and characters.

I'm not sure if i remember maggie... I seem to remember alot of cast changes on sliders so i don't remember.

Yeah Sliders had A LOT of cast changes. Maggie (Kari Wuhrer) was in I think the last few seasons, after Wade left or was taken or whatever happened. It's been a LONG time since I've watched Sliders, my memory is a bit fuzzy.
