Merry Christmas !

I'm back home, finally! After a hip prosthesis and a long period (more than a month) in a rehabilitative structure, to restore the use of the right leg, now I'm trying to return to a normal life. But the rehabilitation isn't at all finished: I have to do daily exercises, physiotherapy, and above all I must be patient a lot, because I have to wait ( Read more... )

I didn't know you had an operation. I wish you as speedy as possible recovery. Loosing mobility is a heavy ordeal. I have some past experience so I can relate. It takes patience, you are right, so I wish you a lot of it.

Good luck with your paintings. Are those on stones? You know, Alexander would be pleased if you consider him as a subject too.... :)

Sorry, but I waited to tell you all of the operation for luck! I had lost free mobility roughly a year ago, and I can tell it's really a heavy ordeal: I had no big pain, but my leg was ( and still is) so twisted, that I have to do a lot of physical training almost for two months more. But I can't buy patience with Amazon unfortunately!
Thank you for your encouragement as for my hobby: I'm only an artisan of painting, not a court painter, worth of Alexander! But your suggestion is good, who knows?

I hope you recover soon and are not in too much discomfort. Good luck with the painting!

Thank you, but I fear that 'soon' would have a loose meaning in my case. If only I'd recover my leg fully and enjoy myself with some good paintings!

I hope your recovery is quick and the less painful possible!
Ohhhhh loved it! good use of the stones! You have just given me an excellent idea; I collect cribs and I have never thought about one made of stones!
Awesome

I never had (or have now) much pain, luckily. I took analgesics only in the hospital for a week after the operation, but I felt (and feel a bit still now) like a mummy dressed thightly!
Do you like my stones really? It's the first time I tried to paint a stone, but I find it less difficult than I thought: perhaps I'll try another time to paint stones, because my nephew asked me to make another crib for him!
