Yay. Ta very much. :D It all sounds so exciting, the whole uni thing. You're going to have tonnes of fun and just, eek.
I leave on October 28th (seven weeks this Friday!) I can't believe how fast time is going. x

When I went to visit a friend there he took me to Mutz Nutz, 5th Avenue and 42nd St. They all seemed fab actually, especially 5th Av. (only on the indie night though), then again I was really drunk the whole time. I've just realised you have like, the best taste in music. x

it is indeed, salford uni though. half my friends list seems to live in manchester one way or another, we've got no excuse for not finding places to go dancing x

i went out in manchester twice. i went to 5th avenue and pop-something, or something-pop. i realise this is a little vague, but it was 18 months ago and i was drunk. the pop one was really fun :) totally random indie/old britpop music with random dance thrown in. there were too many girls dressed up as karen o though. they annoyed me a little.

I think every city had the Karen O clone phase at some stage. It's better than an Avril Lavigne dressing-like-a-man-and-wearing-a-tie one I guess.
