I bet you're talking about your penis in the first one!!!

Why did the therapist tell you to leave?

I figured.

It was nothing dramatic. She told me to leave when I mentioned the fact that I didn't see the purpose of speaking with her when, after three visits, my insurance policy dictated that I either try another counselor or begin paying her for the visits. I wasn't willing to pay for the visits out of pocket, nor was I willing to spend three one-hour sessions explaining what was bothering me only to be pushed to another therapist and start explaining it all over again.

I figured out what was bothering me and fixed the problem on my own about a month later.

I tend to date very spiritual and religious people as well, and so I understand completely what you mean about it being an attractive quality. I am drawn to faith and passion. Not just in religion, but that's why I'm also drawn to people who have placed their faith in philosophy or ideology (ie. my love for Marxist revolutionaries). I'm still searching for something to take the "leap of faith" into myself. I envy the people who have already found it.

That being said, I don't know if I ever WILL find it. I'm pretty cynical and skeptical.

I don't think I will take the "leap" and that's fine with me. I'm pretty apathetic to the whole ordeal in the personal sense.

I think the key word is "apathetic" for you -- I think you're really just drawn to passion in any form, because maybe it's somewhat lacking in your own life? (and I don't mean that in a sexual sense -- I'm talking about passion for ideas, goals, ambitions, etc). Just speculation on my part, of course. :)
