Quite a weekend away...

The annual MLK-Weekend camping trip was excellent. We went up into the mountains northwest of Dahlonega, and camped on a flat area near the top of one of the mountains, with an amazing vista of the surrounding area and valley below. Do you have a link or other info for where in particular you stayed at? We go up to N Ga occasionally to fly around the curvy roads, but not usually to stay the night. It might be nice to stay up in the mountains sometime.

Um...not really. We drove around the roads by Camp Frank D. Merrill until we found a spot that was far enough off the road not to be seen by everyone passing by and large enough to accommodate 7 people. I should have brought my GPS, but I left it at home.

I want to say we were in the vicinity of 34.653655°N 84.133226°W (looking at Google Earth) though it's hard to tell with the treecover in the aerial photos.
