Title: The Bouquet 23/ 23Rating: PG, nothing too bad. Angst... but I will include fluff later on :)
Pairing: Ohmiya
Disclaimer: I do not own Arashi yet... but we all have our dreams, right?
Note: I decided to take a new approach than what I usually do and write this Ohmiya fic in it’s own timeline without them being famous. Think of this story taking place in the late 50s or so...
I did base this story off of one of my favourite pictures of them (which I’ll post at the end of the story ^_^)Please enjoy!
Flashbacks are in italics :)
*This chapter might be a little more physical than the others!
Not that you mind... we all love a little Ohmiya gropage now and then, right?*
Chapter Twenty-three
Nino strolled down the sidewalk from Ohno’s house, humming quietly to himself and running his hand lightly across the brick wall next to him.
He was in a very good mood after seeing Ohno so happy to see him.
A smile spread across Nino’s face as he imagined Ohno’s happy face over and over.
"Kazu!"
Nino frowned and slowed down his pace.
Did he just hear...
"Kazu...!"
Nino whirled around and saw Ohno running towards him.
Ohno came to an abrupt stop a few inches away from Nino, his face glowing brighter than ever. Nino was holding his breath again, staring at Ohno.
"I love you, Kazu!" Ohno exclaimed loudly and ecstatically, trembling with energy.
Nino was blown away... he thought he was hallucinating.
"What... wait, what?" Nino stammered quickly, grabbing Ohno’s arms tightly.
Ohno blinked his tears away and grinned.
"The flowers! I smelled them and they made me remember! You let me put flowers on the table in the apartment! I found you again, Kazu..." Ohno rambled, the tears finally over flowing over his cheeks.
Nino... Nino couldn’t believe what he was hearing. After all these years... that name, no one called him that for years.
Ohno dropped the bouquet to the ground and grabbed Nino’s face gently.
"You’re crying again..."
Nino looked into Ohno’s eyes... they were back. Satoshi was back.
"Toshi..."
"I’m sorry, Kazu! I left you-"
Nino pulled Ohno towards him and kissed him gently and much more passionate than before.
And the best thing to Nino was that Ohno responded, kissing him back just as deep.
Ohno pulled away slightly and looked into Nino’s misted eyes.
"I... I should let you go to work, Kazu..." Ohno whispered, touching his lips softly to Nino’s as he spoke.
Nino scowled at Ohno and laughed quietly.
"Work? I finally have you back after three years and you worry about if I’m late?" Nino asked quietly and tearfully.
Ohno smiled sheepishly and blushed.
Nino grinned mischievously and grabbed Ohno’s hands, leading him back towards their apartment.
"Oh, wait... we can’t leave these." Ohno said, quickly stooping down and grabbing both the flowers and Nino’s briefcase. Nino reached out and grabbed Ohno’s backside, pulling Ohno towards him.
"How could you think of other things at a time like this?" Nino asked Ohno in a raspy whisper, pinning him against the wall.
Ohno trailed his fingers across Nino’s back under his suit jacket, slowly untucking the shirt.
Nino pushed against Ohno’s body, growing more feverish with every touch from Ohno.
Skipping his fingers over Ohno’s sweater, Nino quickly moved to his belt, trying not to get too distracted by Ohno biting at his lips and tongue gently.
Ohno brushed his fingertips across Nino’s bare stomach and smiled to himself as he heard the familiar, passionate growl from Nino in his ear.
As Ohno felt the warmth of Nino’s hand slide down his pants, he quietly muffled a moan into Nino’s shoulder and grabbed his hips closer to his.
Biting his lip to stifle his own growing arousal, Nino quickly took to his own belt, having a bit of trouble concentrating with the sudden motions of Ohno’s hips against his and Ohno’s soft whimpers in his ear.
Ohno opened his eyes just a bit to see Nino’s face, but instead spotted something over Nino’s shoulder that made him tense up.
Nino felt Ohno stop and he looked up quickly to ask sharply why he had stopped moving, but Nino spotted Ohno’s embarrassed stare and knew something was wrong.
"I... I don’t think we should do this here..." Ohno said in a broken whisper, hiding his flushed face into Nino’s shoulder.
Nino glanced over his shoulder and saw that they had gathered an audience of giggling schoolgirls across the street. And disapproving looks from the older generation.
Nino laid his head on Ohno’s shoulder and grumbled in annoyance of being stopped.
Ohno smiled softly and gently lifted up Nino’s face towards him.
Nino gazed adoringly back at the glowing Ohno and wrapped his arms around his waist tightly.
Ohno softly kissed Nino on the forehead.
"Kazu... let’s go home, okay?"
"Shut up... give me a minute..." Nino grumbled into Ohno’s neck as he tried to cool down. Ohno waited patiently for a few minutes, enjoying the company of Nino once again.
He didn’t mind if Nino just wanted to stay here against the wall cuddling and hugging, because Ohno was totally for it... but he knew Nino too well and the only time they cuddled was before and after sex.
Nino finally looked to Ohno and kissed him softly.
"Can we go now?" Ohno asked between kisses before Nino got carried away again.
Nino laughed and kissed Ohno’s nose. He felt overwhelming tears well up inside him, but Nino would have time to cry with Ohno later.
Right now, Nino just wanted to be by Ohno’s side as much as he could.
They had already wasted enough time without the other.
Not bothering to fix themselves up, Ohno and Nino took each other’s hand tightly and quickly made their way back home.
Epilogue
Nino quietly buttoned up his shirt as he got ready for another day of working.
Straightening out his collar, Nino felt two familiar arms slip around his waist.
Nino smiled at looked at a sleepy Ohno in the mirror in front of him.
"Do I have to cook for myself again?" Ohno yawned, lolling his head on Nino’s shoulder. "I told you if we stayed up any longer last night, I wouldn’t be able to get up in time to make you anything." Nino replied with a smirk.
Ohno pouted and moved back towards the bed lazily and throwing himself on it.
Nino laughed and habitually grabbed his tie from the bed post.
Ohno sat up and spotted Nino adjusting the tie.
"You’re doing it wrong... you never learned how to do it right?" Ohno asked curiously, walking over to Nino.
Nino frowned at Ohno and held up the tie to look at it.
"I’m not doing it wrong..." Nino mumbled.
Ohno flicked Nino’s hands away and straightened out the tie around Nino’s neck.
"Oh... you’re right..." Ohno said softly with a light laugh.
Nino smiled at Ohno and kissed his pouting lips gently.
"It’s okay... I’ve missed you doing this." Nino said warmly. Ohno flushed and continued working at the tie. During the silence, Ohno suddenly thought of something from a few months back.
"Kazu... where did you find my ring?" Ohno asked, looking up at Nino.
Nino frowned in thought.
"I didn’t find it... it was in the bouquet when the little girl gave it to me." Nino explained. "Little girl?"
"She came to my door selling flower bouquets... I wanted to buy one for you, but she must have ran away before I could pay. She left it behind." Nino said, tucking in his shirt.
Ohno found that very strange...
"I left my ring at the shrine since I didn’t have money... but how did she give it to you?" Ohno wondered out loud. Nino turned around and stared at Ohno.
"What? You gave it up as an offering?" Nino asked a little angrily. Ohno looked worried at the sudden change in Nino’s tone.
"I wanted to remember you..." Ohno said softly. Nino smirked at Ohno and took his hand, pulling Ohno closer.
"I guess it worked." Nino said, kissing Ohno softly.
Ohno and Nino walked side by side down the pebbled road, looking up at the sunny and cloudless sky.
Nino found it very strange that Ohno wasn’t waiting for him anymore...
Ohno noticed Nino’s puzzled frown, so he reached over and grabbed his hand, lacing their fingers together tightly.
Nino looked over and smiled brightly at Ohno’s daydreaming stare at the trees.
They both walked silently together down the road, until Ohno stopped and pulled Nino back.
"Oh! Shouldn’t we tell them that we’re not lost anymore, Kazu?" Ohno asked, nodding towards the little forgotten shrine.
Nino let Ohno pull him over to the shrine and they both stopped in front of it.
"I didn’t bring any money..." Nino whispered to Ohno. Ohno checked his pockets also.
"Oh... I didn’t either..." Ohno whispered to Nino worriedly.
They both looked back to the shrine, wondering what to do.
"I don’t think they’d mind... we’re just saying thank you, right?" Nino asked Ohno.
Ohno smiled and nodded and then reached for the rope.
They clapped their hands and bowed their heads.
"I guess I’ll go home for breakfast... Kaa-chan wanted to see me anyway." Ohno said before he and Nino split ways.
"You’re like a little kid..." Nino laughed. Ohno smiled and kissed Nino softly before turning around and walking down the shaded sidewalk.
Nino remained in his spot, watching Ohno walk away.
He was going to cook Ohno breakfast from now on so he didn’t have to part ways like this anymore.
Clearing his throat and smiling brightly, Nino walked down his side of the sidewalk.
Everything was back to the way it should be.
"I guess you can never truly forget that one person who always held your heart... because when you have nothing else to live for, their face is the one thing that keeps you alive."
Ohno looked over at Nino, who was reading his latest entry from his journal.
"You wrote that, Kazu?" Ohno asked curiously, sitting up from the grass by the pond side.
Nino smirked and flipped through the pages lazily.
"Of course I did... and I mean every word." Nino said softly.
Ohno stared at the younger boy in awe.
"I didn’t know emotions like that existed when we’re this young..." Ohno whispered to himself. Nino smacked the top of Ohno’s head with the journal.
"I wrote it for you! You really do keep me alive, you know."
"I do?"
Nino laughed at Ohno’s flattered expression and nodded.
"I feel the same way... Kazu..." Ohno whispered shyly.
Nino tossed his journal off to the side next to their pile of school books and pounced on the unsuspecting Ohno, making him fall back into the tall grass.
"Now that we found this clearing, we have room to do whatever we want..." Nino whispered in Ohno’s ear, kissing alongside of his jaw.
Ohno closed his eyes and kissed Nino back gently.
"If you’d listen to me sooner, we wouldn’t have gotten caught in your room..." Ohno replied softly.
Nino stopped kissing Ohno and glared at him for bringing up the embarrassing memory.
Ohno only knew one way to get off of Nino’s bad side... he put his lips to Nino’s ear.
"Kazu... I love you." Ohno purred in his most alluring voice and an added an extra nip on Nino’s earlobe.
Judging by the signature growl of Nino and the tightened grip on Ohno’s hips, Ohno had successfully removed himself from danger. The two walked home later that evening, their arms filled with books but still finding a way to hold each other’s hand.
"Do you think you can sneak out again tonight?" Nino asked Ohno.
"As long as we get back before morning... I almost got caught last time." Ohno replied softly. Nino smiled to himself and promised to get them back by morning.
Stopping by the tree that separated their properties, Ohno and Nino faced each other and quickly kissed good-bye.
"I love you, Satoshi... don’t fall asleep and forget, okay?"
"I love you too, Kazu... and I’ll try... but, you’ll wake me up if I do, right?"
Nino nodded and tried to hide the evil smile when he thought of all the ways he could wake Ohno up.
"Of course, I will... bye, Toshi."
"Bye bye, Kazu..."
