i just walked around the garden with my mother for nearly an hour. we talked about things, like what to plant where, what plants are which, etc. we're going to have a garden day on saturday, the two of us. our hands are going to get dirty and we're going to be kissed by the sun while we transform our garden into something glorious once again. i should have listened to myself. you were so convincing. we don't need it. we did need it. i shouldn't blame you but i am. it's not your fault, not entirely, but it's easy to make it all your fault in my head. it's too easy to hate something that you once loved dearly.

this happens every year: i forget how different i am in the winter than the rest of the year. i'm happier. it's nice.

i lost my job at ubuntu...and it's turning out to be a really good thing.

achy muscles and an irritated throat + sleeping literally all day = thorough flush when zones are perfectly balanced. good job, body.

it's finally raining. and now i'm going back to the couch to read. we just started dr frankl's man's search for meaning in world lit. books books books.
