I felt pretty similar in high school, I think. Out of the loop, like people were always off doing things I wasn't, and I was just sitting at home. I went to prom alone my senior year, and I didn't even do anything after, which was pretty depressing. But, two things-
1. Other people are having less fun than you probably think. 2. College is a thousand freaking times better than high school, socially.
Especially 2. Last summer I went out with people maybe three times a month... now I've been out twice in the past week and I'm still antsy and bored, because that's nothing compared to how it is in college. Seriously, college OWNS. It got me over a lot of latent social anxiety I didn't even know I had.

I had that breakdown today as well. My sisters never went to school, nor did my parents and they're doing very well for themselves. I'm in college and suck at life
