In here there are two types of wanted characters. Suggestions that you can find in the comments if you're out of ideas, and wanted ads posted by players. I'm interested in playing Lewis Carroll - though if anyone else is dead-set on playing him, I could go with William Blake.

But Carroll is the one that's coming together most strongly in my head. One thing I'm not yet entirely clear on in the application process is whether authors are put on hold as soon as someone expresses an interest (so that we have time to put together an application without finding out that someone else snagged the character while we were working on it), or do you have to specifically request the author you want to be put on hold, or what? I noticed a few listed as being on hold, but wasn't sure how that worked...

Hi, and thanks for your interest in the game :)

Nobody so far has said anything about Carroll so you're welcome to apply to play him. I can also hold him for you if you need a few days to get everything ready.

We don't have a very specific process for holding characters. We'll do it if people ask us to do it, there isn't really a form or anything as long as they something (we might change that if get a large influx of players, though).

How long do you need? Would one week be enough?

Hi. Unfortunately someone has also asked for a hold in Rimbaud, and they asked first. The page just wasn't updated earlier because neither of us logged in for two days due to irl stuff, and I only saw all the hold requests today. I hope this isn't too much of a problem, I'm terribly sorry! If the other person doesn't end up applying, I'll let you know.
