i got a new shiny, acoustic ibanez today for my birthday... i can't wait to make beautiful music. i'm psyched.

i got my computer back. took it home, plugged it in. they didn't fix ANYTHING, not one thing. took it back, sent it in again.

i asked the geek squad employee if he could flag my redo with the note "extra pissed customer with violent tendencies."

he laughed, but i was serious.

my week is looking up. i aced my 383 project, first a i've ever gotten on a project for my major in my college career. then i got a sparkling and rather heartwarming midterm evaluation from my ct. it feels so good to be good at something. even if it's not my deepest heart's desire, it feels overwhelmingly good to be part of something so much ( Read more... )

1/3 of my 383 grade lies in a singular project, creating a personalized curriculum for one of the students in my class. i hope that sounds just as difficult and time consuming as it is. naturally, i procrastinated until 2 days before the project was even due to actually start writing up the mountains of data i've collected thus far ( Read more... )

i had to put on my glasses this morning because i seem to have misplaced my contacts last night. wherever they are, i hope they're happy that i even took them out. slippery bastards.

don't get nicoderm cq and stop smoking because eventually smoking will lead to your death via cancer or a number of excruciating diseases, stop smoking so you don't have those lines around your mouth.
