pattern for a-line dress?

So, I want to make a whole bunch of dresses like these.  They look easy enough, and I can let my kid go nuts in the quilter's section.  Any ideas for a pattern, online or in my local sewing supply shoppe?

if you have some basic sewing knowledge you could probably just use some newspaper or muslin to make your own template. it looks like it's just two pieces sewn together at the sides and i'm guessing a zipper in the back with bias tape around the arm and neck holes. maybe check out a book from the library on pattern making or something?

it looks kind of like Simplicity #9911 without the pocket.

I'm sorry, but holy crap, they're charging $40 for those!? I can see $20/$25, but $40? Crazy.
