Newbie saying Hello!

Good day and greetings! I am 30 weeks pregnant and thought this group would be a good way of connecting to other interesting hip mothers, since my tiny community just north of the America/British Columbia border doesn't seem to have much to offer.

us

what does 'hip' mean to you? Hip means, being free from the constraints of doing things based on others opinions. Hip is a sense of fashion that is 'with it' without really trying, in an almost timeless sort of way. think Juno from the movie of the same name.
why do you think you're a 'hip' momma? Because I empathize with growing up- we are all still doing it, really. I like to think my kids will appreciate the fact that I know what's what about being a kid.
how did you find us? searched 'parenting' in LiveJournal.
post a salute (this is a photo of you holding a piece of paper with your username or the community name on it so we know you are real):
