Summary: Taemin sleeps with everybody, everybody except Minho.
Minho sits in the dim room reading a novel waiting to see if Taemin was going to return to their room that night. SHINee was performing at a charity concert that consists of several other groups such as SNSD, Wonder Girls and 2PM. Even they have only been at the hotel for 2 nights for practice, Taemin was doing what he normally did and was sleeping round. It didn’t matter if they were female or male, he did anybody that caught his eye. And that was almost everybody good looking and young within the industry. Taemin wasn’t always like this, but after years of listening to people call him cute and babying him something inside snapped. Sure he still acted cute and innocent on the outside but he was the opposite on the inside. And everyone that slept with him believed his lie that ‘they are his first’.
The door slowly creaks open and Taemin tip toes in, face all red and clothes all dishevelled. “You’re still awake” Taemin sounds surprised. “Did you bring the room key?” Minho raises his eyebrows, obviously that wasn’t the reason why he stayed up. He was always awake waiting for Taemin to return to their room even if it meant he would be exhausted the next day. He always needed to know that Taemin was safely within his arms reach. Grimacing Minho asks the question he hates “Who was it tonight?” “After drinking with 2PM, I got the Jun brothers” Taemin beams. “Both of them?” “Yer” “At the same time?” “Of course! It’s more fun that way.” Taemin giggles before stepping into the shower.
Every night Minho asks the same question and it pains him to hear the answers but he has to know. Watching Taemin towel himself off, Minho turns away refusing to stare at Taemin’s bruised knees and elbows. Taemin believes this type of behaviour will prove his independence and adulthood but it terrifies Minho. This reckless behaviour that would destroy SHINee if discovered or that can kill Taemin if he caught something or encountered someone dangerous. Taemin never have and never will look at Minho the same way he looks at someone he lusts. Minho has already given up hope and now all he can do is be there to catch Taemin when he falls.
